Rent With BPU
What Does My Rental Support?
Your rental supports Creative Justice, an arts-based healing engaged space for youth and young adults impacted by the school-to-prison-to-deportation pipeline located on the first floor of Washington Hall. Five days a week Creative Justice facilitates arts-based healing and restorative justice programming and opportunities for youth and young adults ages 13-23. The majority of participants at Creative Justice are Black, Indigenous, youth of color. Participants, in addition to having access to daily arts and culture programming, also receive weekly stipends and basic needs support such as food, rental, transportation, restitution relief, and system advocacy and systems navigation support. Both Black Power Unlimited and Creative Justice are Black-led organizations located in the historically Black Central District at the historic Washington Hall. We work collaboratively for our communal well-being and the economic health of our organizations because we know that we are stronger together. Your rental supports this mission! Thank you for partnering with us to provide sustainable arts and culture spaces for our communities to thrive.
